How to Become an Empowerment Coach for your Next Job
Posted October 08, 2018 10:17:16 Empowering your next employee and boss is not just about the way they work, it’s about how they inspire you and help you reach your potential.
Here are the top 5 ways you can help them reach their goals.
Create a team to get things done This is a really simple, yet very powerful tip.
By creating a team that shares the same passion for your company, you’ll be able to share a lot of ideas, get feedback from your team members, and get the most out of your team.
Creating a team for this purpose is something you should do every week.
When you first join a new job, you can sign up for a weekly team meeting.
Then you can send in your team photos, videos, and other helpful information about your company.
After a few weeks, you should start to get a better feel for how your team works.
If you’re still not comfortable with creating a new team, you could always ask for someone to be your mentor.
Teach the basics This is really easy, but there are a few things to keep in mind: You can’t just send in the basics.
Your team is going to be a little different from one day to the next, and they’re going to need a bit of help.
It’s not enough to just tell them what to do.
You have to teach them the basics of what they need to know, and then let them figure out the rest.
This means you can’t simply tell them, “Here’s the list of things you need to do, here’s how to do it, and here’s a checklist to help you do it.”
It’s a lot more effective to teach your team the basics first.
Build trust and trust yourself This is another very important tip.
You should never tell your employees how to behave, and you can be very wrong.
But you also can’t tell them how to feel.
You want your employees to feel safe, and if they feel unsafe, they’ll do things that could put them at risk.
Here’s how you can do this: First, make sure your team is all together and ready to go.
Ask your employees, “What’s the biggest fear I have about the company?”
Ask your team, “Do you feel like you’re on the path to a career you can only dream of?”
Then, make a list of the things you can confidently say to your team to ease any anxiety they may have.
It might include: “I feel comfortable saying I’m on the right path” “I’m not afraid to talk about my experiences” “If I don’t do my job right, I can change it” “There’s nothing I can’t do to get ahead” “The company has great values” “We’re all working for the same cause” and “I know I’m doing the right thing.”
Get to know your employees This is probably the most important part of all, and this tip is the best way to learn from your colleagues.
This will allow you to build a strong team, one that shares your values and will give you confidence that you’ll help them succeed.
If they’re a little bit scared of meeting new people, you might have to say, “Look, I don-” or “No, I’m not that scared of that,” and let them know that you know how to handle situations.
If there’s a fear they’re having, say it to them and explain how to be safe and be confident with yourself.
Be patient With this tip, you’ve basically told your employees that you’re not going to punish them, that you care about them, and that you trust them.
If things go well, they’re probably going to have a much better time with you than you’d ever imagine.
