Sri Lanka’s election in May is a critical opportunity for the country, as it is currently undergoing a severe economic crisis.

The current government, which was formed by the country’s largest opposition party and was supported by the international community, has not been able to enact economic reforms in order to alleviate the countrys economic crisis, and is still struggling to overcome the country-wide political and cultural divide.

Despite this, the government has already begun to introduce measures to address Sri Lankas economic challenges, including a series of major reforms including a debt reduction plan, a reform of the land and water resources system, and the establishment of a government agency to manage the economy.

Sri Lanka’s government is also currently facing a large-scale domestic security crisis as well as a domestic political crisis as a result of the recent electoral defeat of the ruling alliance, the National Democratic Alliance.

Following the electoral defeat, the opposition has begun to mobilize the country and demand a change of government.

In response to this, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is also the head of the Sri Lankan Green Party, has declared that Sri Lanka will enter the 2019 elections under the new government, though the party has yet to announce its candidate.

However, a poll conducted by the Democratic Alliance has shown that the party is set to win the 2019 election.

A poll conducted in April showed that the alliance has the support of 38 percent of the voters, and that Rajapakas support stands at 55 percent.

Rajapaksas party is also expected to form the government, however, this has not happened yet.

With the upcoming election, the country will likely witness a significant escalation of tensions in Sri Lanka.

What are the biggest issues facing Sri Lanka?

According to the World Bank, the following issues are considered to be the most important by the Sri Lanka economy: A financial crisis and a major increase in the debt of the country have led to an economic collapse in the country.

The country has been in recession for more than four years, with the country losing its ranking of #20 in the IMF’s 2017 World Economic Outlook.

Due to the economic collapse, the economic growth rate of the economy has plummeted to around 5 percent annually, while inflation has soared to over 400 percent.

The ongoing crisis in the economy also has the country in the middle of a major economic recession, with a projected annual economic contraction of 4.4 percent.

According to official data, Sri Lanka has a GDP of $2.7 trillion, with an unemployment rate of 16.9 percent.

However, this rate of unemployment has been falling in recent months, with unemployment rates in the province of Colombo currently sitting at 5.4 per cent and 8.3 per cent respectively.

According to a recent World Bank survey, the percentage of people living in poverty has increased to 40 percent, with nearly half of the population in the island nation having income below the poverty line.

The current unemployment rate stands at 18.9 per cent, with almost half of Sri Lankaís population experiencing poverty.

Sri Lankans are also facing a major security issue, with about 20,000 people reportedly being killed in the last few years, many of whom were civilians.

This number is estimated to be more than half of all Sri Lankans.

While Sri Lanka is still one of the most dangerous countries in the world, the current government has yet found a way to solve this security issue.

The Sri Lankian government has taken steps to improve the security situation, including the establishment and implementation of a new national security force.

Since the establishment in 2019 of the new Sri Lanka Security Force, the national security forces have been trained in counter-terrorism and counterterrorism operations, and also are being equipped with new weaponry and equipment.

This is a significant step forward in the fight against terrorism, as Sri Lankaans security forces are equipped with advanced weapons, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), high-speed rail systems, and even helicopters.

Sris Lankans need a strong government and strong economy to tackle the country´s problems.

However for the first time, the Sri Lankan people have a representative in the National Assembly, and this is a step in the right direction.
