JCI board appoints new director, says it’s ‘a team of dedicated, driven professionals’

JCI Board of Directors announced today that the newly-appointed Executive Director, JCI CEO, Ravi Krishnan, and the Director of the Board of the Sri Lanka-based JCI, Ramesh Rajaratnam, have been appointed.

JCI said that Krishnan and Rajaratna were appointed as new Directors on the recommendation of the board’s Vice-Chairman, Rakesh Gupta, who has been in charge of overseeing the business activities of the business for the last two years.

Rajaratnam will continue to oversee JCI’s activities in Sri Lanka and will also take charge of its operations in Nepal, Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs said.

Krishnan, who was formerly the Managing Director of Bizmeet and is currently the Managing Vice-President of JCI and a Managing Director at PwC India, will be responsible for JCI-related functions.

The board has appointed Krishnan as Executive Director.

In addition, Krishnan will take charge as JCI President and CEO.

Ravi Krishnans duties include managing the business operations and development of Jci, the business of the JCI Foundation and the business ventures of the organization.

In particular, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the Foundation, its activities and the overall strategy and strategy of J CI, which is in line with the mission of the foundation.

He has been serving as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Foundation since November 2014.JCI is a global organisation that supports businesses in Sri Lankan and Nepal by providing opportunities for volunteers to join the J CI Foundation.

The foundation provides a network of more than 2,000 volunteer-based organisations in Sri Lankan and the Nepal regions.
